Travertine Patio Pavers

Creating your patio from travertine pavers will cause a very special look that is difficult to match with another paver.  Patio pavers are the best choice because they last longer than a typical patio surface and give that natural stone look.  When you consider the alternatives, travertine pavers give a great design and distinctive look with very little maintenance involved.

So many have decided to use patio pavers in their outdoor space.  Installing the travertine patio pavers is easy.  While concrete was popular at one time, people have tended in recent years to want a more luxurious look without paying more money.  Travertine pavers can come in so many different shades that give it an advantage over concrete.  Some people will set the travertine pavers in sand.  Others will choose to lay the pavers over a concrete surface.  Installing pavers over concreate is simple.  You might have to lay additional concrete first if you are planning to extend out your patio with the pavers.  It is suggested that a person visit several locations where they can view the patio pavers and get an idea of what they will look like.  This will not only help you decide between laying in sand or laying in concrete, it will help you pick out a pattern and see how it will look.  Most travertine paver dealers will have a travertine paver display and even have some of the pavers laid out in different designs to help you decided what pattern you will want to use.
